Happiness and Unconditional love

Dear All,
The topic for Tuesday evening at 7:30 is the quote:
"Play like a child. The happiest moments in your life are when you are playing just like a child, when you are singing and dancing, when you are exploring and creating just for fun. It is wonderful when you behave like a child, because this is the normal human tendency."
~from The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz
On Wednesday afternoon. we will re-visit the imagining:
"Imagine living without the fear of loving and not being loved in return. You are no longer afraid to be rejected and you don't have the need to be accepted."
~from The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz
peace and love

You know we are all children at heart?? LOL.. We never really grow up so we are always playing in some sense of the word. I am always being told to grow up but for some reason i just cant. I rather enjoy being a kid partially. I think it embarrasses Jeff sometimes but its just who I am..

"Art is the proper task of life."

"In the true man there is a child concealed who wants to play."

"Whenever I climb I am followed by a dog called 'Ego.'"

"The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude."

"Become who you are."

"There is one thing one has to have: either a soul that is cheerful by nature, or a soul made cheerful by work, love, art, and knowledge". Friedrich Nietzsche

Nietzsche and many other philosophers, anthropologists and psychologists have recognized that art is play...for adults.

Hey, I noticed your post from a few weeks ago about Oprah's webcast with Tolle...it is much more than half a million viewers now. The site meters on her downloads record over 10 million different visitors to her site. That is just counting people who have computers, or goto the site...it doesn't count those who have read the book as well...it's quite a phenomenon. I've been reading many of the comments at her webboards and so many folks are so savvy to the idea of his reworking of Hinduism and Buddhism...it's quite fascinating to see a new mainstream audience participate in these ancient ideas.

Sounds perfectly natural and sensible to my, Tweetey!!

Hi Candy.
Thanks for all the great quotes.

It is really amazing the amount of people interested. I love it.

Ancient ideas, yes, but they can only be experienced in this moment. The One Moment. Which on the other hand, makes them eternally "new" ideas.
