This is the Same Place

What a difference a season makes. Here is the view from the deck, overlooking the small orchard and then down into the horse pasture. If you look carefully you can see the rope swing hanging in the maple tree.
I enjoy the contrast. Both seasons have their charm and I embrace them equally.

Just goes to show, even in the barren winter, there is still beauty to behold.

What a fantastic lesson I have learned here today!

It is really a miracle, that these frozen barren sticks will be full of vibrant green leaves and apples and plums in just a few months.
Then I think, maybe its ok for me too, to have my cycles of creativity without judgement.

Oh I love winter and snow! What a gorgeous photo. It snowed here too and I just want to get out and snowboard...unfortuantely, there aren't any mountains around here.

But downtown, there is a beautiful skating rink. I will try and take some photos of the park in snow this coming weekend when I go skating.

That's really a lot of snow. Have you and your s gone out toboganning yet? I wish I was there, hot cocoa, some hills WOW!

Love the photos girl!

Indeed, Healing Room! Those pictures are the perfect metaphor for how we go through creative cycles!!

Hi Candy!
I am not big on sledding. My daughter went down in the feild a few times with the dogs and had fun with a aled.
Caley was home for a week and had many a night on the hills in Ladysmith.
I hope you find some hills too. Skating sounds fun too.
Tanya,
Yeah Nature is a great teacher.

Thanks for showing us the incredible contrasts. I love all four seasons too, and all the various weather conditions. I missed it when I lived in CA.

Even though we believe the difference from our experience, it's still amazing to see it side by side like this. It's good to be reminded about Nature's cycles, knowing we are one with her and therefore can trust what we go through ourselves!

Thanks for the reminder!
