Love and Adoration
The Four Agreement Wisdom Group will be considering the following quote for this coming Tuesday night:
"Imagine that the message of Love is possible and you will find that it is yours."
On Thursday afternoon, the topic for consideration will be,
"Create the perfect relationship between you and your body. Treat your body with all your love, honor. gratitude. and respect.
When you make it your goal to adore your own body and accept yourself completely, you are learning to have a perfect relationship with anyone else you are with."
~ Don Miguel Ruiz

Nice post...and this is why there is a huge decades long health food history...and is a little of what inspired Adele Davis...here is her Amazon site for the book she wrote anonymously:
Jane Dunlap:

I don't know if you clicked on the links I provided on the Davis post...but if not...you know when letters/words are highlighted those are links right?...follow this one...and it's links...I believe nutrition and mental health and self esteem are all connected as well and feelings of integration in society.

Hi Candy,
Yes, I know those were links but didn't have the time to peruse them.
I did find excerpts of her book on The Council Of Spirtual Practices which I have a link to here on my blog. They have her listed as Adele Davis and Jane Dunlap.
Fascinating stuff.
Yes, loving yourself is the root of healthy self-esteem and effects all parts of one's life. It really makes sense.
You got that one right. I have to say I just met this lady down the street and we have become fast friends already. My point being is that she is close to at least 400 pounds and she keeps herself up. A little makeup and nail polish. It suprised me when I first met her. I mean she cares enough to do that stuff unlike some people her size I know.
The Way of the Warrior:
...the first principle of Shambhala vision is not being afraid of who you are. Ultimately, that is the definition of bravery: not being afraid of yourself. Shambhala vision teaches that, in the face of the world's great problems, we can be heroic and kind at the same time. Shambhala vision is the opposite of selfishness. When we are afraid of ourselves and afraid of the seeming threat the world presents, then we become extremely selfish. We want to build our own little nests, our own cocoons, so that we can live by ourselves in a secure way. from Shambhala by Trungna.
Hi Tweetey and Candy,
I love both of your examples.
I love that I can share here first, and then when its meeting time I have so many inspirations to draw from.
Take away the FEAR, and what is left is acceptance. Step that up a bit and you get appreciation. Eventually, with practice. Love is all there is.
Then without the need to grasp at "outside" experiences for our wellbeing, we bring peace to our lives and others.
Now to put that in action......
I am glad I can share with you and help you.
Oooh! Good one! And again, very appropriate to my life at the moment.
Hi Tanya!
I can't think of a time when this would not be extremely useful.
where ever you go.....there you are.
Choice words!
Hi F. and D. Admin,
Interesting blog handle. Can you tell me a ltiile about yourself?
Woops, sorry! That would be me. How are you?
The message is wonderful. Especially to those who have not abused their minds and bodies.
As someone who has spent 20 years not doing so, its very difficult to change those old patterns. It's a great message. It is always very inspirational to see people who follow this message.
Oh, Hi Marc!
Yes, I have visited your blog and I gather that you have had an amazing path.
We are all so unique and yet we are one beautiful being at the same time.
Thankyou for your imput :>)
