Mother's Day Peonies

Look at these incredible peonies!!!

This lovely friend of mine grew them herself. And she cooked me a fabulous Mother's Day lunch that took us all day to enjoy.

Bless you, Sweetie!

ha ha ha, HEALING ROOM and READERS of THIS BLOGSITE,

I hope I am successful in logging on as ANONYMOUS, and if so, this post will be posted !

(I have had trouble logging on as JOYLIVING which is my correct username).

It was a lovely Mother's Day. HEALING ROOM is a neat lady and a great mother.

We spent the day having a leisurely lunch and admiring these peony blooms.

HEALING ROOM was able to set up my digital camera ( new out of the box - she's smart!) and we were able to photograph these blooms on Sunday , May 13, 2007.

The magic of these blooms is that it requires no horticultural skills whatsoever. The blooms are produced by Mother Nature.

Also, last winter, this peony tree which is 36 inches tall, went down to one bare brown stalk.

In Feb 07, small shoots appeared, then leaves, then 2 little buds which grew gradually till they bloomed last week.

The blooms are 8-9 inches in diameter. They are amazing to me!
And what a lovely Mother's Day we had. Thank you HEALING ROOM !
