One of my favourite things to do is make a List of things that I am grateful for.
In no particular order;
- Amazing supportive and inspiring friends
- My loving loyal pets
- The drumming circle
- The river
- The ocean
- Wilderness outside my door
- The stone table
- Growing awareness of unconditional love
- My talented and loving children

Ah, this is something I should do more often, just to give me a reality check!
Yeah, it does feel good to do it.
And I love feeling good.
Oh, there's another one!....I am grateful for gratitude lists.
I love your gratitude posts.
I am gratful for:
The incredible and joyful things that came into my life in the wake of my father's passing
My Buddhist practice
My partner
My five cats and Bo
My life
Lovely.
That's a great idea, and one I could implement a little more often too. Strange how we take all the good stuff for granted, isn't it?
Hi Red, Nice to see you here.
yeah, taking things for granted just doesn't feel as good as really appreciating it.
I can see the red in your haair now - looks natural. You have a wonderful list of things to be grateful for - I am very happy for you!
Thanks MOM
I am very grateful that I have a Mom that chats with me on my blog!!!
Hi Joy,
I will check those links out, thankyou.
I am familiar with Dr. Emoto's work through the movie, What the Bleep do we know?
A very good reminder how important our thoughts are.
You can rent "What the Bleep" from most DVD rental places,,,,it has a great bit where she is in the bathtub drawing with sparkly felt pens all over her body, hearts and words like Love and Thankyou.
So like the bottles of water in the Dr. Emoto experiment, she is giving all the water cells in her body a message of love.(yes, I have sparkly pens now...why not?!!)
