For Your Toltec Consideration

Tuesday night, the moderator picked a card from the Voice of Knowledge deck,

"You are an angel, and your life is your message.
You can be a messenger of lies, fear, and destruction, or a messenger of truth, love, and creation. But you cannot deliver lies and truth at the same time."

Thursday afternoon, a card was picked from the same deck,

"Listen to the silent voice of your integrity.
When the voice of knowledge becomes the voice of integrity, your emotional body becomes the way it was when you were a child. You return to the truth, to your own common sense. You return to love, and you live in happiness again."

Excellent choice. How do you return to integrity?

Sounds so true. I agree how do we return to integrity? People destruct in life all the time and getting themselves back on the right path isnt easy.

Well I know it is different for everyone....for me, I found it very valuable to have Mentors. One is a 4 Agreement Mentor whom I have live one on one sessions with and the other is a book called The Presence Process by Michael Brown. The book leads the reader through a 10 week process that gently integrates one back to their authenticity.

Another book I will have to get, I think. Thanks!

I ordered from Chapters and I am sure Amazon has it too.
If you do read it, let me know what you think.
If you have a high-speed computer, his website has free audio of some of his work.
The Presence Portal.

I wish more people considered the idea of integrity and truth.

so many people seem confused about what is right and wrong...and what is "doing the right thing".

so few heros and selfless giving people...oh well..each of us has the opportunity to take on being a compassionate giving person. We can start by volunteer work...and giving a dollar o a homeless person...it's actually very easy to act with intergrity in this needy world.

Hi Candy,

This bears repeating, "each of us has the opportunity to take on being a compassionate giving person."

And the opportunities are everywhere, beginning exactly where we are. If we are alone we can give to our selves and so on.

I think this is a good example. One day before hubby and I moved this lady stopped and asked where the college was and I told her it was too far to walk and she asked if I had enough for her to get the bus out there and I went upstairs and got her the money for a one way trip out to the college. City bus is 1.50 here and I figured she needed tbe 1.50 worse than we did for the time being. But doing stuff like that for people makes you feel good about doing it. Its just weird how it works out.

Yes, Healing Room everyone has the opportunity to be a compassionate giving person. And Tweety that is a great story. You know, when I am walkign around and someone asks me for money on the street...after I dig around in my pockets I always find I feel a smile and I always say thank you to the person who asked me for a donation.

Doing volunteer work, and giving money to a person who lives outside or is in need...is like being specially reminded of how much we have in ourselves.

People who are not generous with their charity are very sad to me...I remember a teacher once telling me, that we shouldn't judge people who are not generous with charity...because they are people who believe they have nothing extra to give. They are people who feel life has not given them what they desired or what they dreamed of having.

People who are not generous with charity...are really actually...the saddest people on earth.
