Spring on Vancouver Island

The skunk cabbage is blooming in our pond. The leaves on the alder are
showing themselves. My daughter and I went for a walk without jackets.
The horses are frisky and the ornamental plum is in blossom.
The trilliums are up everywhere. I always feel like I am getting the universe's approval if a trillium blooms in my yard.

It snowed on Tuesday night here and had to get all the winter gear except for snow pants back out. It wasnt that cold. I love the horses. I would love to learn how to ride some day.

Well its gone now but some places here in WI got like 10 inches on Tuesday. We were lucky we only got 4.2 I think. So it was ok. Esp now that its back in the fifties.

In Toronto, the weather turned late last week, and it has been sunny and beautiful since. Some of my spring bulbs are starting, and things are beginning to green up.

Nice to see you here Mr. Anchovy.
Yes, I noticed the weather in Toronto got quite warm. The news showed people sunbathing.
