Tuesday night's meeting falls on Halloween. A great occasion to reflect on the Angel of Death, and the gifts she brings.
Thursday afternoon's meeting has the topic;
"Don't make Assumptions. Speak openly and honestly. When you speak openly and honestly, you won't have to make assumptions. The day you stop making assumptions, you will communicate cleanly and clearly, and achieve impeccability with your word."

Sounds like a good plan! Now if more people would follow it things might improve in the world.
Does anyone know how to delete spam comments?
Hi Mom,
Yes, it is worth practicing, I see a huge difference in my life when I make the effort to be impeccable.
Don't make assumptions. This is one I am working on at the moment.
Loving your topics! I reeally wish I could be there to take part in these discussions. They sound fascinating!
Don't make assumptions is brilliant. Villoldo calls it "beginner's mind."
If you go to your settings, under Comments, click "yes" on "Show word verification for comments?"
That should eliminate spam.
Hey Tanya,
Well, we could have a disussion here, n'est-pa?
Thankyou for the tip, Ruth.
And I bought the Villoldo book.
TRUE!
Don't make assumptions, Ruiz says, will change your entire life completely. This is one agreement I am finding hard, I have to say. This and don't take things personally.
Every day, though, I bring these things to mind in my interactions.
It is amazing at how insidious this habit of assuming is in mysself.
As I have practiced awareness, I have noticed more and more how I assume almost EVERYTHING. To live in each moment, I am learning (practicing)to be comfortable with not knowing.
and you know what, that is more the truth...usually, I do NOT know. And its OK. In fact it is very liberating.
I've checked out Eckhart Tolle's website and will be going to the library to see if they have any of his stuff so I can check that out.
I'm finding that this just keeps getting deeper and deeper. Reading Tolle, Ruiz, Villoldo has helped me with some practical steps. I'm clearing away so much stuff, but now it's getting down to where I'm hard wired, and it is very painful. I don't like it. There are things I just don't want to let go. Like being a victim, as you'll see in Villoldo's book. Let me know what you think.
I love having so many interesting teachers to draw from.( The Four Agreemnts, The Power of Now, The Presence Process)
The ones I have picked are assisting me in tuning into my own answers again and again.
I think I know what you mean by the Hard-wired stuff, Ruth. some of the hard-wiring feels like life and death when it comes to even taking a look at some of it. terror.
Yep, exactly.
