On Tuesday evening, the 1st day of 2008, the Wisdom Group will be viewing a portion of the DVD of Don Miguel and Don Jose speaking.

For the Wednesday afternoon meeting we will do the same.

Yellow Point Country Christmas

This weekend, I was part of a Christmas Artisan Tour.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, folks followed a map in my area to all the little home-based businesses.
This year we had the most participants ever.
25 artisans took part.
I was very happy with the all the wonderful friendly customers that came to my door. I drummed on my djembe as they browsed my "store".
Loads of fun.

Shine Edgar Shines with the Didgeridoo

We had a small but very keen turn out for Shine Edgar's Didge lessons.
We were treated to some amazing didging that dug into my soul.
Shine explains how he uses his didge-playing as a channel for the divine, and his upraised hand is like an antenna to assist in tuning in.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Dream Pipe, Yirdaki, Didjeridu

Shine Edgar is returning for another round of lessons on Monday.
Last time we were treated to a private heartfelt concert as well as some fine instruction.
I encourage anyone to come and experience this primal portal into the Self.
So what is the difference between a Yirdaki and a Dream Pipe or a Didge?

Shine Edgar Didge workshop in Nanaimo

I am arranging Didgeridu/didgeridoo lessons and Didge healing sessions at my house October 22.
Master Player, Shine Edgar from Australia now living on Cortes Island is coming down for a workshop or two.
I took some lessons with him 2 years ago at Leah Morgan's house (seen here playing her didge) It was a memorable experience.
I look forward to another session with him and invite all who may be interested to check out this ancient instrument.

My Mom and Sister

Hey Look, my Mom and sister came for a visit to Nanaimo.
We met for lunch at this awesome Lebanese restaurant, Aladdin's cafe.
The food is made with Love.
I was very happy to see my family and to spend some time catching up.

Bioluminescence and the Sunshine Coast

My daughter and I were fortunate enough to be visiting my sons on the Sunshine Coast when a bloom of bioluminescent plankton showed up in the ocean where we were staying.
At night, under the twinkling stars, we swam in the dark waters that lit up around us as we moved. We literally GLOWED!
We did this every night followed by a leisurely hot tub . What a blessed life!

"The underwater mosaic of light, each tiny dot of it resembling a firefly, is produced by microscopic plankton that create light through a chemical reaction when disturbed. Joy Beauty and Gratitude

Tonight, at 4 in the morning is the Fire the Grid meditation. For me, its about experiencing joy and gratitude.
What better way to get into the mood than a hike to the river. I went to my "new" spot that I have named, "The Grotto".
Its down a steep ravine.
But once down here, it is paradise. The water was wonderful. Refreshing but not cold. I spent the day snorkeling down river and around the bend.
Then reading and laying in the shallows where the water has carved out the rocks into natural pools and perfect little seats for my bum. Heaven!

This is a wonderful idea.

A Nova Scotian woman had an incredible experience and is sharing her truth with all that will listen.
I watched her Youtube presentation (all 8 parts) and I feel richer for having taken the time.
Her name is Shelley Yates and she is a true hero.

or just go to You Tube and type in her name or Fire The Grid.
This is not just Canadian....it is a worldwide event for July 17, 2007.
Its possible to do this kind of stuff because of this medium.......The Internet!!

Cob Cancelled

Here are some of the Mudgirls mulling over the details of the workshop.
I got more information in this meeting that made me realise that this was not going to work for me.
So I took care of myself and cancelled my offer to host the workshop on my property.
22 participants were coming but they pared my project down to a 10' diameter, not enough room for my drumming group or my meditiation group. :>(
22 people plus young children would be using my bathroom and the clincher was that they are taking no responsibilty for anything that may happen. 100% responsibilty and liablity was to be mine.
It worked out ok, they found another host property fairly close to here and I wish them well.
